Message 3

In our final study on Faith, in Part 3 we examine the source of our faith. As the Bible points to the Godhead, Prayer and The Bible as the initial source of our faith. It also indicates that there is a human side to faith also. God wills to work faith in all his creatures, and will do so if they do not resist his Holy Spirit. We are responsible, therefore, not so much for the lack faith, but for resisting the spirit who will create faith in our hearts if we will permit him to do so.
In our first study we examined where reliable knowledge comes from, how we should embrace that knowledge using our free will and that we must apply the knowledge we learned to whom that knowledge shows us. In part two of this study, we examine how to take the faith we have learned and apply it in several particular ways. Part 2 of this study is entitled “The Meaning of Faith In Particular.”
What is faith? We read so much about it in the Bible and when we talk to other believers at church. But what are the basic things about faith that we should know? In this Bible study; we will discuss the first things to build on to grow in faith. As we look at part one in this three-part series, we will be examining ‘The General Meaning of Faith.’
Would you like to learn how to prioritize your prayers as you come before the throne of grace to communicate with God? Does God have instructions for believers to help you make sound biblical choices & resist worldly thinking? In today’s message; we observe a wise prayer with biblical implications. As we pray with biblically sound choices in our prayers, we will continue to allow God to transform us into useful vessels for His purposes.
